As a film-maker, David S. Mayne (PBS’ History Detectives) was looking for a project that stirred his passion for history and great cocktails. Then ‘eureka!’ the journey of Happy Hour History began.

This fully independent series was made possible through a crowd-funding campaign, live bar screening fundraisers, and liquor brand sponsors. The Five Episode Season 1 is available to watch on Amazon Prime, Tubi, Pluto TV & Roku WATCH NOW

It takes a village to serve up a great indie series. David recruited a mix of experts including award-winning Bartenders, Producers, Animators, Filmmakers, Audio Engineers and Historians who all have a passion for history and drink.

Thank you to everyone who made this season possible! Cheers!
